Jeroen Houben

Biography

Jeroen Houben (/jə'ruːn 'huːbən/ yuh-ROON HOO-ben) is a Dutch director, screenwriter and composer.

After graduating from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Houben made several acclaimed short films, including Plaster and Home Suite Home. His feature debut Your Mother Should Know drew over 100,000 visitors to Dutch cinemas, earning a Golden Film Award. His second feature film, Torch Song, was awarded the Dutch Film Critics Award.
