Jennifer Sevilla started as a model for advertisements at a young age. In 1982, she ventured into acting in films when she met actor and neighbor, Jing Abalos. At this decade, she starred in various films, including "Hindi Nahahati ang Langit" and "Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita?" (both in 1985). In 1987, she became part of GMA Network's entertainment programme "That's Entertainment".
In the 1990s, she again starred in various films, including "Mundo Man ay Magunaw" (1990), "Muling Umawit ang Puso" (1995), and "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay" (1998). She also starred in television programs including ABS-CBN's satire sitcom "Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata" (1991–97) and PTV/RPN's "Tierra Sangre" (1996).
While she spends most of her time as an entrepreneur, she is still active in the entertainment landscape. She is currently married and has two sons.
