Biography

Lisandro Duque Naranjo (Sevilla, Valle del Cauca, October 30, 1943) is a Colombian film director. He served as director of the International School of Film and Television.

He has collaborated with Gabriel García Márquez on several audiovisual projects, including the television miniseries María, Milagro en Roma, and Los niños invisibles. Duque Naranjo is also a columnist for the newspaper El Espectador and a professor at Universidad Central and Universidad Nacional.

He served as manager of Canal Capital until December 31, 2015, when the term of Gustavo Petro as Mayor of Bogotá ended.
