The Chilean-Venezuelan filmmaker Pablo de la Barra (1939) studied at the Theatre School of Chile University, from where he graduated as professional actor in 1996. He also made a Master degree at the California University and received the degree of film director and producer at the Laney College in California.
He has directed many award-winner documentaries in his country and abroad, bur has also made some commercial slots . In 1977, was released his first feature film, Queridos compañeros. In 1988, he made his second feature film, Aventuras, in which he wrote the screenplay together with the writer José Ignacio Carujas.
