Geert Wilders

Biography

Geert Wilders (Venlo, September 6, 1963) is a Dutch politician. He is the founder and parliamentary group leader of the Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV). With a brief interruption, he has been a member of the House of Representatives since 1998, representing the People's Party for Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (VVD) until 2004. Wilders is known for his outspoken views on Islam and immigration.
