Dru Phillips is a writer, director, and musician from Indianapolis, IN. They concentrated in directing at Columbia College of Chicago and studied filmmaking at J. Everett Light Career Center. Phillips has directed numerous short films, notably of them, "Beautiful", a horror film that has been featured in the 24 Hour Massacre in Chicago and the 2015 Cannes Film Festival student showcase. In 2021, Phillips' short "The Wicked Ascension of Miss Jean-Louise" will be a segment in director/producer Selene Kapsaski's anthology feature "Films Confiscated From a French Brothel". Phillips is currently preparing her feature directorial debut, tentatively titled "A Fine Funeral", with co-writer Dominic Segatti.
