Maiguma Katsuya is a Japanese actor. After graduating from high school, he moved to Tokyo aiming to become a film director, and went to a film director course at the Tokyo Film Center School of Art Vocational School (now Tokyo Broadcasting Arts & Film and Actor Vocational School ).
Under the direction of the director Yoriko Jun, he studied the play and made his debut as the first stage in the 2010 "TIC-TAC" stage. He has produced many short films such as VOEL. The movie "Ken and Kazu" in 2016 had won him The 71st Mainichi Film Competition Sponichi Grand Prix Newcomer Award, Osaka Cinema Festival 2017 New Actor Award and 31st Takasaki Film Festival for Best New Actor Award. He is represented by Alpha Agency.
