Umesh Kulkarni

Biography

Umesh Kulkarni is an FTII graduate who edited several Kannada Films in the 70s and the 80s and directed and edited his only feature film Shankanada in 1986 for which he won the National Award after which he moved on to documentaries for Doordarshan. in 2011 he wrote a book Anche Antu Paradhe Nantu on the stamps released by the Indian Postal Department on Cinema. He currently resides in Bangalore.
