Olga Nawoja Tokarczuk (born 29 January 1962) is a Polish writer and activist.

In 2018, she won the Man Booker International Prize for her novel Flights, becoming the first Polish writer to do so. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for the year 2018 (awarded in 2019). Her works include Primeval and Other Times, Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, and The Books of Jacob.
