Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Biography

Sandeep Reddy Vanga (born December 25, 1981) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and editor who works predominantly in Telugu and Hindi cinema. After working as an assistant director on *Kedi* (2010), he made his directorial debut with the romantic drama *Arjun Reddy* (2017), which he also wrote. The film earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu.

In 2019, Vanga made his Hindi cinema debut by writing and directing *Kabir Singh*, a remake of *Arjun Reddy*. He subsequently wrote, directed, and edited the action drama *Animal* (2023).
