Gowtam Tinnanuri

Biography

Gowtam Tinnanuri is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema.

He made his directorial debut with the romantic drama *Malli Raava* (2017), starring Sumanth and Aakanksha Singh. He then directed the sports drama *Jersey* (2019), starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath. The film follows a former cricketer who attempts to return to the sport in his mid-30s and received two National Film Awards, including Best Feature Film in Telugu. Tinnanuri directed its Hindi remake, also titled *Jersey* (2022), starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur. He also directed the spy action thriller *Kingdom* (2025), starring Vijay Deverakonda.
