Brendan Eder's music has a distinctive mark of authenticity and sophistication, which directors repeatedly seek him out for. Eder recently wrote the original score for “Leap of Faith,” directed by Nicholas Ma and produced by Morgan Neville. His music was also featured in “American Seams,” which premiered on PBS POV and LA Times Short Docs. Eder composed the logo sound for FICTIONS, a new video game company led by former executives from Annapurna Interactive, including Nathan Gary and James Masi. He also composed music for several Ari Aster films, including Basically (starring Rachel Brosnahan), and The Strange Thing About the Johnsons. In addition to creating original scores for feature films, shorts, and television Brendan also composes for advertisements, and his ensemble releases are regularly licensed for film and television. Brendan lives in Echo Park, Los Angeles.
