Biography

Graham Nolan (born 12 March 1962) is an American comic book artist, who started his career writing and illustrating comic books for DC, Marvel and Eclipse Comics eventually leading to a 6 year run illustrating Batman in "Detective Comics" and co-creating the villain Bane (1992).

He wrote, illustrated and self-published, "Monster Island" (1998). In 2000, he took over the syndicated comic-strip, Rex Morgan, M.D. for a 14 year run and the Sunday Phantom feature for 6 years. In 2006, Nolan also drew a story for Moonstone Books' "Phantom Annual", which was written by his former Batman-partner, Chuck Dixon. In 2010, he created the webcomic "Sunshine State".

In 2014, Nolan was awarded the prestigious Inkpot Award for his contributions to the comic arts.
