Rukmini Vasanth

Biography

Rukmini Vasanth (born December 10, 1994) is an Indian actress who works primarily in Kannada cinema, alongside appearances in Tamil and Telugu films. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, she made her acting debut in the Kannada crime thriller *Birbal Trilogy: Case 1 – Finding Vajramuni* (2019) and appeared in the Hindi film *Upstarts* (2019). She achieved recognition portraying Priya in the two-part romantic drama *Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side A* (2023) and *Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side B* (2023), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada.

In 2024, Vasanth starred in the neo-noir action film *Bhairathi Ranagal*, the vigilante action film *Bagheera*, and made her Telugu debut in *Appudo Ippudo Eppudo*. She subsequently appeared in the Tamil films *Ace* (2025) and *Madharaasi* (2025), and portrayed Princess Kanakavathi in the period action drama *Kantara: Chapter 1* (2025). She later appeared in *Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups* (2026).
