Soliman Eid is an Egyptian comedic actor and has one of the most recognizable faces on screen for his plentiful comedic roles. He comes from a modest family in southern Egypt. He was born and raised in Kitkat in the Cairo neighborhood of Imbaba. His older brother, Sheikh Khalifa, is a reciter of the Holy Qur'an and shares the same lightheartedness and humor as Soliman.
