Biography

David Morando is an Italian director, editor, and screenwriter.

After studying Filmmaking at the London Film Academy, he began working as a creative producer for Paramount Network, MTV, and Sky.

In 2017, he was nominated for the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards in Los Angeles.

In 2020, he directed the comedy "Gli Atomici Fotonici", starring Giovanni Storti and selected in over 50 international festivals.

In collaboration with Paolo Bonfadini, he wrote and directed short films that garnered recognition in over 150 festivals, including the Golden Globe and Show Me Shorts, with inclusion in the Academy Awards list.

His latest short film, titled "Rasti," co-directed with Paolo Bonfadini, features the presence of Lino Guanciale, Adriano Giannini, Paola Buratto, and Eleonora Giovanardi.

Additionally, his TV series project "Gotland", created with Paolo Bonfadini, won two editions of the BlindNetpitch organized by the Writers Guild Italy.

Beyond cinema, he has contributed to editing streaming programs for Amazon Prime Video, including the popular LOL Italia.
