Xun Zhuo

Biography

After graduating from Emerson College, Xun began his career at the "Transformers" studio di Bonaventura Pictures. From 2020 to 2025, he served as a Development Executive on Netflix’s flagship series "3 Body Problem," shepherding the project from its unprecedented initiation and overseeing its creative development through production. The series opened the 2024 SXSW Film & TV Festival and went on to receive six Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.

Alongside his work on major studio productions, Xun has maintained a strong commitment to independent cinema. He executive produced the 2024 Guizhou-dialect feature "A River Under the Scorching Sun" (selected by FIRST and Beijing International Film Festival), as well as the Ukrainian-language hybrid fiction feature "Leleka" (selected for 2025 Tallinn Black Nights' Rebels with a Cause competition).
