Yudhistira Bayu is an Indonesian independent filmmaker who made his debut through a college project titled Sesaat (For a Moment). His interest in film began at an early age after being introduced by his late grandfather to B-grade action films, before later developing a stronger affinity for the horror genre.
He frequently creates short films as a way to explore horror as his primary creative medium. His works have been screened at several small international film festivals, gradually gaining attention from niche audiences abroad. Yudhistira cites Koji Shiraishi, Shinya Tsukamoto, Takashi Shimizu, and Timo Tjahjanto as key influences on his work.
