Frances Arpaia is a queer trans woman who lives in Brooklyn and makes weird films. She sort of has a masters degree in Screen Studies from Brooklyn College and occasionally works as a freelance film scholar. Most of the time she is busy making her own films which explore everything from queer life in Brooklyn and the struggles of community and connection, to longform experimental works including feature length performance pieces and video-art shitposts. Apparently people even watch them.
