Kyra McConnell

Biography

Kyra McConnell is an actor, writer, and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. Her creative work deals with themes of obsession, childhood, female friendship, and queerness. In 2023, she co-wrote, directed, and starred in the short film Unturned, which was selected as one of the 2024 Films of the Year at NoBudge. She most recently wrote and starred in WUNDERKIND, a short film set in her Massachusetts hometown.
