Alan Rowe

Biography

Alan Rowe (not to be confused with the English actor Alan Rowe), was an Australian actor and entertainer. He appeared in Australian television serials from the 1960s to the 1990s, including the popular series "Homicide", "Prisoner", "Cop Shop", and "Blue Heelers" . He was well known for his puppet "Kimbo The Koala", a popular act on children's TV when TV in Australia was brand new. He also wrote and sung the popular Australian "Puffing Billy" song, released in 1972.
