Michael Hook

Biography

Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Michael started creating movies at the age of 12 when he participated in a summer intensive program at the Phoenix Film Festival. After multiple years of participating in the annual program, Michael decided to write and direct his debut short film, "The Follower" at the age of 17. Michael continued to practice his craft at Ringling College of Art and Design from August 2022 to May 2026, during which he directed 6 short films and produced 5. Michael currently works in South Florida, focusing on the production department while running his media solutions business.
