Marta Espar

Biography

Marta Espar is a scriptwriter and journalist specialized in health and science for the last 20 years. With a degree in Clinical Psychology and Journalism, she has written scripts for betevé, the German television Deutsche Welle, the RTVE correspondent in Berlin (Germany), TV3, Mediapro and the International Olympic Channel. She wrote reports for the Health Supplement of the newspaper EL PAÍS and later for the Catalan newspaper ARA, as well as for the European Research Media Centre. Author of several books of interviews, she scripted and co-directed, together with filmmaker Marc Parramon, the documentary Veus contra l'estigma, co-produced by Mediapro and Televisión de Catalunya (TV3).
