Amr Abd El Hamid

Biography

Amr Abdel Hamid (born in Dakahlia Governorate in 1987) is an Egyptian writer and novelist. He studied medicine, specializing in ear, nose and throat surgery, at Mansoura University. He is best known as a fiction writer for his first published works, the duology The Land of Zicola and Amarita. He recently published Daqat al-Shamu, the second part of the novel The Rules of Two Neighbors, and its third part, Amwaj Akma.
