Aiko Sato (佐藤 愛子, Satō Aiko, November 5, 1923 – April 29, 2026) was a Japanese novelist. Born in Osaka and raised in Nishinomiya, she was the second daughter of novelist Kōroku Satō and actress Mariko Mikasa. Her half-brothers were poet Hachirō Satō and screenwriter/playwright Hajime Ōgaki. She graduated from Konan Girls' High School. Like her father, she was known as the "writer of anger" and was called the "male critic" due to her sharp critique of society.
