Biography

Francisca Sobrinho is an actress originally from Braga and based in Porto.

She works regularly as a performer with the Porto-based company A Turma and currently stars in the productions 'O Salto', 'Sul', and 'A Primeira Vez', all written and directed by Tiago Correia.

Recently, she was a cast member and co-creator of the production *Ensaio Aberto: o fim da História Humana*, directed by José Eduardo Silva of the collective Interrogação Teatral.

Her professional background includes experience in children's theater—specifically 'Se uma Gaivota viesse' by Hugo Direito Dias (Tin.bra Theater Academy)—and musical theater, such as 'Branca de Neve: o Musical' directed by Tiago Guimarães. She has also worked in film, appearing in the casts of 'Terra Vil' by Luís Campos, 'Prova de Cor' by Joana Botelho, and 'A Avó e o Amor' by Raúl Veiga.
