Dana St. Amand

Biography

Dana St. Amand is a transgender filmmaker from Manhattan, Kansas. A graduate of the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan, Dana has film experience in a variety of different skill sets including lighting, camera, art, editing, and VFX. She directed, shot, and edited season one of the talk show series TRANSLATION, and her short IT’S SURPRISINGLY HARD TO KILL A MAN! won Best Comedy at WILDSound festival. Her feature screenplay GUN was an official selection of the LGBTQ+ Toronto & LA Film Festival and a semi-finalist at the Flickers’ RIIFF.
