Pouyan Sadeghnezhad

Biography

A graduate of Concordia Film School, Pouyan Fard has shot a number of commercials, music videos and films in Toronto, Los Angeles and New York as Cinematographer and also as Steadicam Operator. Recent DP credits include the Evren music video "And There I Was", the NLX "Find Love" video (theme song for the feature 'Off World'), and a series of Christopher Wadsworth model shoots for the Elmer Olson modeling agency. He has worked for Vision TV on several projects, including 'Sex & Religion' and 'Supernatural Investigator.'

After emigrating to Canada from his native Iran in 1998, Pouyan struck up a high school friendship with fellow film fan Gavin Heffernan. He has since worked with Gavin on a number of Sunchaser Pictures film projects, including 'Expiration', 'Trails', 'Santa Croce', and 'Devolution.'
