Andrew Gregory is a British journalist, writer, producer, director, and photographer, and an editor at The Guardian. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including three British Press Awards, a British Journalism Award, and the Royal Statistical Society prize for investigative journalism. In 2026, Gregory produced “Small Hours,” which screened at Oscar®, BAFTA, and BIFA-qualifying festivals, earned a nomination for Best Animated Short Film at Raindance Film Festival, and won Best Animated Short Film at Chester Animation Festival. Previously, he was an editor at The Sunday Times, and a contributing writer for The Sunday Times Magazine. Gregory began his career as an assistant to a photographer. He started out as a paperboy.
