Bruna Assis Ribeiro

Biography

Bruna Assis Ribeiro has a solid background in cinema and visual arts. She studied cinema, photography, multimedia, and sound at the Escola Artística António Arroio in Lisbon, where she specialized in cinema. Subsequently, she deepened her skills in directing and editing at the Instituto del Cine in Madrid. Throughout her career, Bruna has produced and directed several short films, also developing extensive work as an editor, art director, director of photography, and producer on various projects.

She is currently developing her project “BU Productions,” an audiovisual production company that aims to create opportunities for young creators, like herself, to develop their art without having to leave their home country. The initiative is supported by professionals from the fields of cinema and music, promoting collaboration, artistic growth, and new possibilities within the creative market.
