Biography

Juliana Brown Eyes (Oglala Lakota, Tongan) is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and designer exploring Indigenous identity, ancestral storytelling, and cultural memory across narrative film, documentary, and design. Her work has been featured in Marie Claire UK, BBC, and The Huffington Post, and her short film Pehin premiered at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian. She has worked as a concept designer at NIKE. Brown Eyes holds a BFA in Cinematic Arts from the Institute of American Indian Arts and is currently pursuing an MFA in Film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
