Biography

Yaseen Khatri is a Karachi based filmmaker and writer whose work leans into sharp storytelling, dark humour and socially observant narratives. A media studies graduate with 'Chand Pe Charkha Kaat'ti Budhiya' as his directorial debut, he intends to build films that balance grounded realism with flawed characters and uncomfortable truths. With hands-on experience across directing, cinematography, sound and editing, Yaseen aims to build a body of work shaped by both independent cinema and bold mainstream influences.
