Emma Tracey is a producer, entrepreneur, and media founder known for her work documenting open-source software culture. Originally from Dublin, she began her career in journalism before co-founding Honeypot, a developer-focused jobs platform that grew into a major hub for technology storytelling. Through Honeypot and later Cult.Repo, she has helped produce documentaries and media projects exploring the people, communities, and histories behind influential programming languages and frameworks. As founder and CEO of Cult.Repo, Tracey focuses on elevating the stories of open-source creators and contributors, combining her background in journalism, community building, and technology media.
