Isaac Haines is a composer and songwriter from the quiet countryside of Alberta, Canada. Music has been a constant thread through his life — not something he discovered later, but something that seemed to grow alongside him. From an early age he was drawn to melody, to the way sound could carry emotion without explanation, and over the years that instinct slowly shaped itself into a lifelong practice of composing.
Much of Isaac’s work is born from solitude. Living close to the land, and spending long stretches of time alone in the wilderness while hunting, he developed a deep sensitivity to silence, atmosphere, and the quiet intensity of the natural world. The brutal beauty of the outdoors — the stillness of winter fields, the weight of empty forests, the patience required to move through wild places — has left its imprint on his music. Those landscapes often echo through his compositions: wide, reflective, and sometimes melancholic.
