Leon Genesis

Biography

Leon Genesis serves as the producer and composer for Post-Democracy Days, crafting the film's atmospheric score from behind a ski mask and digital audio workstation. Based in Oklahoma, Genesis is known for blending cinematic sound design with experimental hip-hop and alternative production techniques, but has taken a completely different approach with this score. His sound direction reflects the anxiety, spectacle, and emotional fragmentation at the center of the film.

Beyond film scoring, he releases his own original music as one of Oklahoma's emerging producer-artists, with instrumentation spanning guitar, bass, and piano.

For the Post-Democracy Days soundtrack, Genesis collaborated with multi-instrumentalist Sam Vaughn to develop a soundscape that mirrors the instability and surrealism surrounding Trump's New York trial and the lives orbiting it.
