Alee Ruggieri

Biography

Alee Ruggieri is a New York City–based filmmaker and set decorator. After graduating with a B.F.A. in Film & Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, her writing and directing have been recognized by Screencraft, Hollyshorts, and Soho International Film Festival. In 2024, she was selected for the Stowe Story Labs June Narrative Lab, where she received an Honorable Mention for the NYX Horror Collective Fellowship. Her latest short film, Skinned, was completed in 2025 and is currently on the festival circuit, premiering at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2026.
