Joey Barbesant

Biography

Joey Barbesant is a young French filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor born on May 22, 2010, in Martigues. Living and studying between Istres and Fos-sur-Mer, he developed a passion for cinema at a very young age and founded the independent collective JLNH to create his first short films with friends. At just 15 years old, he transitioned to feature-length filmmaking by creating the "Morgarath" dark fantasy and horror universe, writing and directing the films Morgarath - Destins Damnés and Morgarath Returns. This ambitious 1.85m-tall director and actor now aims to showcase his genre films at major international film festivals.
