Overview
Filmmaker Olly Lambert spends two months on Ukraine’s southern frontline with volunteer special forces as they begin the push to capture Kherson. The film follows “Hummer”, an experienced military commander who now finds himself a chaperone to completely inexperienced forces on the frontline.

This is a limited but interesting look at one corner of the war in Ukraine. It lays out aspects that might well represent the future of war. Drones, volunteer and temporary soldiers from other walks of life, and an army that depends on advanced weapons as always, but also on advanced technology and dedicated amateurs.
