Overview
When a lonely polar bear can't find a friend... he makes one. Set in a rapidly changing world, "Snow Bear" tells the story of a polar bear in an unforgiving environment on his quest to find a friend. This independently produced 2D hand drawn film was painstakingly created entirely by Aaron Blaise over 3 years.

Now I know that polar bears usually prefer to be solitary, but this gorgeously crafted animation is at times just plain sad. A bear is wandering it’s icy homeland looking for some company. With winter looming, most sensible critters like the geese have skedaddled and the orca are a bit wary of letting it swim with their calf.
