Dull, but in a pretty suit
If you are making a movie about a Mary Sue you have to be careful. Because Mary Sues are incredibly boring characters. This movie does make it a bit interesting, with some characters that you could possibly get invested in, but the overall tone is not getting to that point, and it all sort of flounders.
