Watchable, but the underlying message isn't a good one. That's my core takeaway from "Jack Ryan: Ghost War". Yes, by all means, watch this film as a basic, wholly familiar and predictable but nonetheless enjoyable action romp. Expect decent pacing, lots of action and mildly engaging characters.
All that said, pushing the belief that doing horrible things to people is somehow redeemable in order to keep the world "safe" isn't good on any level…
