Overview
Melbourne is the last bastion of "The Progressives," a society shielded from the outside world by a glowing rainbow "virtue signal." When the shield begins to fail, an Aboriginal elder named Murray reveals the truth: the culture war was lost long ago, and only the legendary Victimhood can save them. Tasked with retrieving it is Pete, a downtrodden white man treated as the lowest rung of society. Joined by Murray, the vain Princess Stacey, and Social Justice Warrior Lance, Pete ventures into the "real" Australia for the first time, discovering it's nothing like he was told — while Prime Minister Pauline Hanson races to reach the weapon first.

Satire needs to be funny to work
Political satire is tricky. In order to make fun of the thing it is pointed at it has to be funny to start with.
This movie is not. I get how the political issues are poignant and relevant, but the fact of the matter is that the movie is simply not funny.
You can laugh at the caricatures, the absurdities, but in the end, the movie isn't funny. That makes it fail as satire, and a waste of your time.
