Ah Bu Gençlik (1975)

Overview

The story follows Cemile, who comes to Istanbul to buy a motorboat. Cemile is a fisher woman who lives with her grandfather. Her grandfather, Salih, also runs a tavern. Cemile’s greatest dream is to buy a motorboat. She has been saving money for this purpose. Knowing that it’s impossible to buy a motorboat through fishing alone, Salih sells the tavern and gives the money to Cemile. He sends her to Istanbul to buy the motorboat. However, things Cemile never imagined will happen to her in Istanbul.
