Overview
At the end of WWII, Jimmy Picard, a Native American Blackfoot who fought in France, suffers from unexplainable symptoms and is admitted to a military hospital. When doctors suspect schizophrenia, an eccentric psychoanalyst takes up the case and starts a conversation with the veteran.

I was completely engrossed in this movie. The story, the acting, the cultural aspect of how a Blackfoot Indian would be treated by VA medical staff after World War II (out of ignorance, not evil intentions), the odd story of the French anthropologist who isn't really French who is invited to psychoanalyze Jimmy P. and does it with respect and understanding, the mystery of the medical problem, Benicio del Toro in the best role I've ever seen him i… read the rest.
