Overview
"You only get to choose one dream in this life." In the golden stillness of a lakeside evening, a husband shares with his wife a dream — a vision of her, but not as the woman he knows. In this dream, she is an artist: a dancer, a musician, a woman free from domestic obligations. Through this delicate conversation, महत्वाकांक्षा unfolds as a meditation on the what ifs of life — the dreams we pursue, the ones we leave behind, and the bittersweet question of whether the road not taken might have led to happiness. Dedicated to the women whose ambitions often remain unspoken, the film is a quiet reminder that dreams need not be compared to be valued. Inspired by the words of Meg March (Little Women), it celebrates the dignity of different desires: “Just because my dreams are different than yours, it doesn’t mean they’re less important.”
