Overview
After saving his home from a historic wildfire that destroyed his town, a California man opens his doors to displaced families and neighbors, determined to stay rooted in a place that could burn again. Stray Embers is a powerful, moving film and just an incredibly well made doc - the edit/pace felt perfect, I was really impressed with the cinematography, and the overall story/intimacy with the main participants was captivating throughout.
