Overview

Montreal, built on water, has no access to the water: the waterfront is private. Yes, private! The water serves only to power the great wheel of commerce and industry, when it isn't the exclusive domain of the privileged. Yet, water should be an element serving human well-being, as in Sweden, where all the riverbanks are public.
