Overview
Nurani and Arya were destined to live with physical disabilities; Nurani is deaf, while Arya became disabled due to a mistake made by his father. They were raised by their grandfather, a fisherman. Their mother passed away after giving birth to Arya. Meanwhile, their father—whose mishandling of Arya during delivery caused the boy's leg muscles to tear—became frustrated and left home to seek his fortune elsewhere. Despite their circumstances, Arya and Nurani did not lose heart; when schoolmates bullied her, Nurani would demonstrate her strengths. One day, Nurani encountered Darta, a member of a drug ring wanted by the police. Panicked that his identity might be exposed, Darta shoved Nurani, causing a severe head injury that left her in a coma. He continued to threaten the lives of both Nurani and Arya to ensure his identity remained a secret.
