Set deep in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, this poetic and gripping short-thriller unfolds through the voices of a chief, a teacher, and a shaman of the Borarí people. Through dramatic re-creation and exclusive archive, we are on the front line with the Borarí forest guardians in their struggle to defend their ancestral land against logging companies. The film captures the story of the forest guardians and the creation of a powerful, indigenous-led resistance movement determined to keep the forest standing.
