Souvenir (1984)

Overview

An experimental short film made by the painter Franco Angeli in 1984. It represents a crucial moment of intersection between Italian Pop Art (of the so-called School of Piazza del Popolo) and the very first digital technologies of the time. The work is closely linked and coeval with Giulio Turcato's "Color Computer '84" project, having been born in the same context of audiovisual and computer experimentation of the early 80s.
